Unprofessional Withdrawal and Remarks Post Acceptance of Internship Offer
Unprofessional Withdrawal and Remarks Post Acceptance of Internship Offer
Subject: Re: Unprofessional Withdrawal and Remarks Post Acceptance of Internship Offer
Dear Drop Out Intern,
We acknowledge the receipt of your emails, including your digitally signed offer letter, subsequent withdrawal request, and the remarks made regarding our internship policy and terms.
Let us clarify this unequivocally:
1. Cyber Privilege Internship Program: CSR-Backed, Not Casual Engagement
This internship is offered completely free of cost under the Cyber Privilege CSR Policy Ver. 2.8, funded and administered by our organization to uplift deserving youth across India in the domain of Cyber Forensics & SOCMINT.
We invest internal resources, mentorship, cloud infrastructure, email systems, task boards, training modules, and case simulation access into each selected candidate. This is not a “casual experience” nor a privilege to be opted into and out of at your convenience.
2. Your Conduct: Highly Unprofessional
You confirmed your acceptance formally and completed the legal signing process.
Within less than an few hours/days, you submitted a withdrawal, followed by legal-sounding objections regarding clauses you had already agreed to.
This behavior is disrespectful to our mentors, board, and the purpose of this CSR initiative. Such acts disrupt operational planning, violate trust, and reflect a lack of accountability.
Let us be clear:
🚫 Internship at Cyber Privilege is not a trial-and-error or comfort-based engagement.
🚫 We do not tolerate sudden dropouts after onboarding, nor passive-aggressive legal commentary on company policies clearly outlined upfront.
3. Policy Reminder: Clauses & Confidentiality
The non-compete, confidentiality, and 24/7 response clauses are standard protocols in live case simulation and victim assistance, especially when dealing with women cybercrime cases and LEA interactions.
These are not negotiable, and interns who lack readiness, focus, or commitment are better suited elsewhere.
As per Annexure 9, 13 & 24, any intern found to misuse or question the platform post-confirmation without valid cause will be blacklisted from future collaborations and notified across our forensic, investigation, and cybersecurity partner networks.
4. Document Retention and Use
All documents shared with us (including offer letter, ID proofs, and internship communication) are securely stored and used strictly for internal verification, in full compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 data protection protocols.
No documents are ever published or circulated outside necessary administrative procedures.
Final Remarks
We are disappointed by your sudden exit and baseless questioning of our CSR-driven model. Please consider this communication as final and conclusive. Your onboarding has been terminated, and your profile has been marked accordingly in our internal compliance registry.
We recommend reviewing commitments more responsibly in future engagements.
Sincerely,
HR Department
